I have written the books to help individual teachers develop transformational teaching skills, but I have also designed them to be used for Sunday school teacher training.

2. For Jesus, it’s all about transformation
2. Transformation is the goal of M28:20 teaching
1. “Go and make disciples” (Matthew 28:19)
1. Jesus doesn’t say, “Force people to become disciples”
2. Jesus doesn’t say, “Teach people HOW to become disciples”
3. Jesus says, “Go and MAKE disciples”
2. “Teaching To Transform Not Inform”
1. Jesus doesn’t say, “FORCE them to obey”
2. Jesus doesn’t say, “Teach them WHAT I have commanded”
3. Jesus doesn’t say, “Teach them HOW to obey”
4. Jesus says, “Teach them TO OBEY”

During the Sunday school teacher training, hand out the above outline and simply step through it, discussing the principles related to each point. Because each point only corresponds to a few paragraphs in the book, each point reminds you of what to say next. It couldn’t be easier.
